Yes! We accept most photo formats and orientations.
For best results, we recommend choosing a clear, high-quality image and selecting a block shape that suits your photo composition (for example, square, rectangle, or hexagon). Our team professionally crops each photo to fit the chosen block. If a photo may not print well or requires clarification, we’ll contact you before printing. If you’re unsure, feel free to email us at info@memoryblock.ie or contact us before placing your order.
Choose a clear, well-lit photo that captures a meaningful moment, such as a family memory, trip, or special occasion. Consider the composition of the photo and select a block shape that suits it best (for example, square, rectangle, heart or hexagon).
If you’re creating a set or photo wall, choosing images with a consistent theme or style works well. You can also personalize your Memory Block with an inscription, such as a date, name, or short message.

If you experience an error while uploading or don’t have your photo ready, you may still place your order without uploading a photo. Please get in touch with us after checkout and we’ll guide you on how to provide your photo before production.
Each image is checked before printing to ensure it meets our production standards. We use professional printing techniques and quality materials to achieve clear details and balanced colors. If a photo presents a technical issue that may affect the final result, you may be contacted before printing. You can also include any cropping preferences in your order notes and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
The main difference between our Bamboo and Pine blocks is the aesthetics. Both materials are of the same great quality and they print very similar to each other. The bamboo can be slightly more matte than the pine with very fine grains through the print.
The Pine can have a smoother finish, however due to the natural nature of the wood, tiny grains are also sometimes visible. Most people choose based on what they believe is more attractive.
Some people like the rustic pine others like the sleek, classy bamboo as it has a nice grain through it and side pattern.
Bamboo is typically priced higher than pine.
