This website is operated by Memory Block CL Limited, trading as MemoryBlock Ireland ("we", "us", "our"). Throughout this site, these terms refer to Memory Block CL Limited. We offer this website, including all information, tools and services available on it, to you, the user, conditioned on your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"), including any additional terms, conditions and policies referenced here or available by hyperlink. These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, and contributors of content.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our website. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, you may not access the website or use any of our services.

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting changes to this page. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept those changes.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., who provide the ecommerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

SECTION 1 - ONLINE STORE TERMS

By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you have a parent or guardian's consent to use this site.

You may not use our products for any unlawful purpose, and you may not, in using the Service, violate any laws applicable to you.

You must not transmit any worms, viruses, or any code of a destructive nature.

A breach or violation of any of these Terms will result in immediate termination of your access to our Services.

SECTION 2 - GENERAL CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Your content (excluding payment information) may be transferred unencrypted and may involve transmissions over various networks. Payment card information is always encrypted during transfer.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service without our express written permission.

SECTION 3 - ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS AND TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION

We are not responsible if information on this site is not accurate, complete, or current. Material on this site is provided for general information only. Any reliance on it is at your own risk. We may modify the content of this site at any time without obligation to update it.

SECTION 4 - OUR SERVICES

MemoryBlock Ireland creates handcrafted, custom-printed photo blocks. We specialise in personalised interior decor and gifts, printed and finished in Ireland.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone we believe is misusing our service or using it unlawfully, and to make changes to our service, products, or prices at any time.

SECTION 5 - ORDERS

Choose your product, upload your photo, and add any special requests in the notes or inscription field provided at checkout.

Add your selection to your cart and complete our secure checkout. We'll collect the details needed to fulfil your order (see our Privacy Policy for more on this). You'll receive a confirmation email once your order is complete. If you don't receive one, or if any details look wrong, contact us right away.

SECTION 6 - PAYMENT

All prices are listed in euro. Our store is hosted by Shopify. We can't be held responsible for delays in payment clearance, and we can't ship or guarantee stock availability until payment has cleared in full.

SECTION 7 - CANCELLATION

Please check your order carefully before completing checkout. Because our products are personalised and made to order, we're unable to accept cancellations once an order is confirmed. We're happy to help with your selection beforehand.

SECTION 8 - POSTAGE

MemoryBlock Ireland ships to Ireland and Northern Ireland as standard. For international orders, contact us directly and we will put together a shipping quote for you.

Once your order has left our care, we can't accept responsibility for loss, damage, or postage delays caused by the carrier. Orders typically arrive within 2-5 business days. If you haven't received your order within 10 business days, contact us at info@memoryblock.ie.

SECTION 9 - RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and Irish regulations implementing it, goods made to a consumer's specifications or clearly personalised are exempt from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal that applies to most online purchases. Because every MemoryBlock product is made to order from your photo, this exemption applies to our products, and we are not able to offer returns or exchanges simply because you change your mind.

We will offer a replacement or refund where:

the product arrives damaged
there is a manufacturing defect
you received the wrong item

If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@memoryblock.ie with your order number and clear photographs of the issue. We'll assess each case and confirm next steps. Where a return is agreed, the item must come back to us unused, and return shipping is payable by the customer. We recommend tracked postage and keeping proof of postage until your replacement is confirmed.

We're unable to offer refunds or replacements where:

you've simply changed your mind
a personalisation error was made by the customer at the time of order
the item was damaged after delivery through use inconsistent with our care instructions, including how it was mounted or hung

Gift Vouchers: gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, returned, or refunded under any circumstances.

This section does not affect your other statutory rights under Irish and EU consumer protection law, including your right to goods that are of satisfactory quality, as described, and fit for purpose.

SECTION 10 - PROMOTIONS

From time to time we may offer promotions, including discounts or giveaways. Promotions are valid for online purchases only, and all stated conditions must be met to qualify. We may suspend, cancel, or modify a promotion at any time.

We will never share your personal details for marketing by third parties. We may occasionally use photos or videos of products (including personalised items) for our own marketing across our website, social media, and email. If you'd prefer your order isn't used this way, email us at info@memoryblock.ie with your order number.

SECTION 11 - PRODUCT INFORMATION

Because our products are handmade from natural materials, slight variation in colour or grain between pieces is normal and not considered a fault - it's part of what makes each piece unique. We make every effort to display accurate colours and images, but we can't guarantee your screen will display them exactly as they appear in person.

We reserve the right to limit sales, discontinue products, or change pricing or descriptions at any time.

SECTION 12 - HANGING

It's your responsibility to check that the wall or surface you intend to mount or hang a product on is suitable, and that removing the product later won't cause damage. Test a small area first if you're unsure about the surface. We're not liable for damage to walls or surfaces resulting from mounting, hanging, or removing our products.

SECTION 13 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All designs, images, photographs, illustrations, logos, text, and other content made available on our website or social media is the intellectual property of Memory Block CL Limited, protected under Irish and EU copyright and intellectual property law.

This content may not be reproduced, republished, or used for any commercial purpose without our express written consent.

SECTION 14 - SOCIAL MEDIA

We use social media to share our brand, products, and promotions, and we welcome comments, questions, and feedback made in the spirit of respectful, constructive dialogue.

Please don't repost our images without permission and without crediting us. We may restrict access to our social media for anyone who repeatedly misuses our content.

SECTION 15 - FEEDBACK

We welcome feedback about our products and service, and may display it publicly on our website or social media, using your first name and general location, or your social media handle. If you'd rather we didn't share your feedback, just let us know.

SECTION 16 - MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND PRICES

Prices are subject to change without notice. We may modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We're not liable to you or any third party for any such modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuation.

We reserve the right to refuse or limit any order. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information for all purchases, and to keep your account and contact details up to date so we can complete your order and reach you if needed.

We may give you access to third-party tools that we don't control or monitor. These are provided "as is" without warranty, and any use of them is at your own risk and discretion.

SECTION 19 - THIRD-PARTY LINKS

Our site may link to third-party websites not affiliated with us. We're not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site, and any transaction you make with a third party is between you and them.

You may not use this site for any unlawful purpose, to infringe our intellectual property or anyone else's, to harass or discriminate against others, to submit false information, to transmit malicious code, to collect others' personal information without consent, or to interfere with the site's security or normal operation. We don't guarantee that use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free. Except as expressly stated by us or required by Irish and EU consumer protection law, our Service and products are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Memory Block CL Limited and its directors, officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or our products. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Irish law, including liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

SECTION 25 - INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify Memory Block CL Limited and our officers, directors, agents, and employees against any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.

These Terms, together with any policies referenced here, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Service, superseding any prior agreements or communications.

SECTION 29 - GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

SECTION 30 - ONLINE DISPUTE RESOLUTION

If you're an EU resident and have a complaint you're unable to resolve with us directly, you can submit it through the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We'd also encourage you to contact us directly first at info@memoryblock.ie, so we can try to resolve things quickly.
